Wow, Amazing day. Great Shoemoney effect. Few more top bloggers should make the dream come true.

Congratulations.

All of this excitement makes me want to join in on the action, but I just haven’t come up with my great idea for a page yet…hmm..

Great job Graham. Congrats. As soon as you hit the “mainstream media” and get some television coverage I think you will make more than $15k in a day.

I would definitely reinvest some of the money back into advertising. Look what a little press here and there is doing already. You should keep us informed about your advertising/promotion and how it’s paying off.

Great news … for all of us. Although Graham stands to pocket the million before expenses we stand to benefit from a roughly $7 per year investment …… it’s very easy to get a very profitable return fron this minimal outlay. Shoemoney’s blog this morning has done wonders and this should have a good flow on effect. Happy Days for all concerned i say!

If there’s one thing I plan on doing, its keeping you all informed about whats going on.

If there’s a second thing I plan on doing, its getting a publicist. Shoe is going to put me in touch with a good one.

Wired, here we come.

Send a dozen bottles of Beer to Diggnation and get featured on their podcast. I’m sure that will create a buzz like yesterday. Goodluck.

Graham, you need to get this automated ASAP. The present system allows for multiple sales to go through on the same page. As this gains critical mass, there will be no way for you keep up.

You also need to fix some wording on the sale and FAQ pages.

Graham, are you allowed to divulge how much you spent on advertising? Did you get a ReviewMe from John Chow or did he mention it on his own? I think ShoeMoney was free, right?

Wow, this is definitely a step in the right direction. If you can maintain this “buzz” for MDW, then you can easily do 100+ pages each day. Again, all the best to you Graham!

I think every time John Chow does a reviewme review he says explicitly in the post that it is paid for, usually at the beginning. I think John is promoting MDW in order for his page on the wiki to bring him more earnings.

Yeah, I couldn’t tell if John did a ReviewMe or not. I think he did it out of the goodness of his heart? :P In anycase, this is the link:

http://www.johnchow.com/can-you-make-a-million-dollars-with-a-wiki/

And totally, John gets a cut for being an affiliate. But it’s all good cuz I got 10 bucks off myself buying a page.

kudy said in September 13th, 2007 at 7:35 pm

Hah, yeah - now that you mention it, I am sure that John mentioned it because he is an affiliate. No need for a reviewme review if he is earning from referrals.

I’ve never had a day like that. I think most people never will. My biggest day ever was about $1k.
