In case you didn’t read the last post, there is a drawing on the last day of September for two FREE pages in the MDW.
The way it works is if you write a blog article about the site, and send me a link, you’ll receive an entry. If are in the top 5 Commentors for my blog on September 30th, which is pretty easy at this point, you will receive 7 entries.
So, how do you comment on my blog? Great question. It’s quick and easy, but first you have to register.
Registering to Comment on the MDW Blog
To register, go to the navigation boxes on the right hand side of the page, and look under the heading “Login / Register” You will see the link to register. Once you register, log in, and click the comment button at the bottom of any post and comment away. That’s it!
The Quiet Before the Storm
I’ll let you in on a little secret. We’re going to easily surpass 600 pages this week. There is a ton of publicity coming out starting today. The article in the Willimantic Chronicle is going to 39,000 homes today, the Daily Campus, UConn’s newspaper, is running an article on the front page on Tuesday, we bought some ads on some great blogs, and everything is looking amazing.
A new employee at MDW
I was on the MDW site yesterday, clicking random page over and over again, realizing a lot of pages are still under construction. That’s why I’ve hired a research assistant. Starting on Monday, the new research assistant (who has his Ph.D by the way, so I know he can do research!) is going to research every single topic that has an “under construction” graphic up and put up great content. Of course, page owners can change and edit the content however they like, so they can just delete it all if they want, or simply insert their ads if they prefer that.
The benefit of having quality content on every page is so enormous that I am absolutely thrilled with this new development. Goodbye under construction pages! Hello professionally researched pages!
That’s all for today. Comment away. G
