In case you didn’t read the last post, there is a drawing on the last day of September for two FREE pages in the MDW.
The way it works is if you write a blog article about the site, and send me a link, you’ll receive an entry. If are in the top 5 Commentors for my blog on September 30th, which is pretty easy at this point, you will receive 7 entries.
So, how do you comment on my blog? Great question. It’s quick and easy, but first you have to register.
Registering to Comment on the MDW Blog
To register, go to the navigation boxes on the right hand side of the page, and look under the heading “Login / Register” You will see the link to register. Once you register, log in, and click the comment button at the bottom of any post and comment away. That’s it!
The Quiet Before the Storm
I’ll let you in on a little secret. We’re going to easily surpass 600 pages this week. There is a ton of publicity coming out starting today. The article in the Willimantic Chronicle is going to 39,000 homes today, the Daily Campus, UConn’s newspaper, is running an article on the front page on Tuesday, we bought some ads on some great blogs, and everything is looking amazing.
A new employee at MDW
I was on the MDW site yesterday, clicking random page over and over again, realizing a lot of pages are still under construction. That’s why I’ve hired a research assistant. Starting on Monday, the new research assistant (who has his Ph.D by the way, so I know he can do research!) is going to research every single topic that has an “under construction” graphic up and put up great content. Of course, page owners can change and edit the content however they like, so they can just delete it all if they want, or simply insert their ads if they prefer that.
The benefit of having quality content on every page is so enormous that I am absolutely thrilled with this new development. Goodbye under construction pages! Hello professionally researched pages!
That’s all for today. Comment away. G

I think I am going to put the under construction picture back up, No I am just kidding, I think that it only adds value to the overall site. What happens when people don’t want it, its bound to happen. Or God forbid they turn around and delete it shortly after the new content is up. You would think after spending $100 this wouldn’t be a problem. With that said, I should probably update some of my pages.
I like what I see, help with cleanup of under construction will be great for all.
Good luck with flurry of sales
That’s really odd that after spending the money to secure a page on this wiki, people don’t immediately take action and fill it with content. I know I would at least put a place holder other than the “under construction”.
Great idea hiring someone, the site is coming together.
Tremendous news Graham, great idea thinking `outside the box` and it can ONLY benefit all of us.
hey graham…first off let me congratulate you on a concept that is nothing short of fantastic. i remember when alex tew created the milliondollar pixel site and raised a million in revenue, i thought why didnt i or someone else think of this before him!!!
but still, i couldnt think of a concept that could somehow replicate the milliondollar mark in simple terms…untill i found out about milliondollarwiki. so i hope you for get to that mark you’ve set in as short a time cos you sir, deserve every nickel of it…go million!
Great news! Can we get him to help research stuff for our pages, even if they’re not still just “under construction”?
Nice work, Graham! Can’t wait to see the publicity machine at work.
Kudy: I think people just wanted to park their pages and let other people do all the work in regards to traffic for resale value later. Now they get content on their pages too… talk about a silver spoon!
On the other hand, I would like to know what he would have come up for me…
His current assignment is to add content only to pages displaying the stock under construction messages. If he gets finished will all of them, and there are a bunch, he will be able to take requests.
I’m probably going to give him a page of his own so that he can explain what he does. Maybe the research page or… gasp… the “content” page if no one purchases it in the next few days!
Thats it, I am buying it and then leaving it under construction so when he has to update the content on it, he will always think damn I could’ve had that page.
Wow, page owners now get free page content as well? Nice! Perhaps it’s time to clear out the existing content on my pages and see what an expect can write instead! As for the contest for the Top 5 Commenters receiving entries for the draw, I just hope that people won’t start posting useless “one word” comments and spam your blog.
Not a bad idea.
Think there are people that don’t want any content added to their page? Maybe you should have an opt out option?
Great news. I like this blog great theme and all.
you sure will need someone to help you.
very nice idea; I wrote an article about your million dollar project for the website of Austrias biggest television broadcast company; I’ll publish the link once it’s online.
So, here it goes:

btw: for you great content is great, and in the long run for the buyers as well. But it’s not so easy explaining to the casual visitors why their site has suddenly changed, I guess.
