that's the best paypal anti-scam tip I've read in ages. I linked my account to a different adress as well. it's a lot safer this way, cause some of these scams look really official and might trick even an experienced user into some dumb decision.

I also received one of those Paypal scam emails recently as well. What was funny was the fact that there were quite a few spelling and grammatical errors so it became blatantly obvious that it was fradulent. Definitely, some kind of site statistics would be nice to see!

I agree, I think that it should be shown, a lot of people would like to see it. Plus the more that changes on the main page the better, kinda like gmail and storage space, or better yet the time/temperature sign at the bank, you dont think that there to inform people but rather to keep them looking at their bank and sign.

Something similar. Even simple like "1000 people visited today, 15000 people visited this month so far" would be nice.

Looks like 500 page mark is very close. I feel you should put some site statistics like sitemeter info or alexa on home page. That gives a good confidence for any one looking to buy a page.

Hey funny you mention the papal thing, because I have gotten the same email, to the wrong PayPal primary email. Plus I think that you should update from time to time on how many RSS subscriptions you have.
