If the homepage is set up enticingly enough (and that second "sales page" has a link to the buy page) and you convince even say 0.25% of incoming visitors to buy just one page. If I were you I'd also redo the homepage to make it really exciting for new prospective page owners. Flaunt the fact that not only were you the first but well ahead of the rest and going into 2008 MDW will be the talk of the net! Still keep things kind of simple though but have an exciting hook right from the homepage and maybe a (read/find out more) link to another page further expanding on Wiki's future goals. Make that emotional connection. List it's milestones, etc. Then I'd possibly open a Google AdWords account and use keywords like entrepreneur, make money online, start-up, franchising, etc. very cool to hear that update. In hindsight, it definitely would have been better to allow people to resell their pages from the beggining. It isn't over though. I am considering a number of "phase 2 initiatives"... might be a month or two down the road though. I need to think about other things for a little while so that I can return to MDW with a fresh perspective. I have hired a publicist. Part of the business model from the start to make this a viable business into the future was taking that commission. However, I want to make it valuable for everyone, so I'll only be taking the commission on sales over $115 so no one is losing money on the deal. Fair?
